HARO still sends the most queries. It is not the only inbox you should be in.
US search still types “HARO alternatives” (Ahrefs: ~200/mo, KD 0). People who type that already know the digest is messy. They want the rest of the stack without adding five more inboxes.
Connectively
This is HARO’s successor in all but the brand. Same journalists, same three daily drops, same need to reply from a registered mailbox. If you only pick one extra source besides HARO, this is it.
Qwoted
Paid, and people search it by name (~7,700/mo). It is a journalist marketplace with profiles and matching. Fine if you want a network. Different job from “every digest, one desk.”
Featured
Smaller query volume. Good outlets mixed with noise. Worth ingesting if you already have a roster; not worth a separate morning ritual.
Mention Match (used to be Help a B2B Writer)
B2B writers asking for operators. Lower volume than HARO, higher relevance if you represent SaaS, fintech, or agencies. The old name still gets ~100 searches a month. The product is Mention Match.
Source of Sources and Source Bottle
Peter Shankman’s SOS is still a labeled digest. Source Bottle is smaller. Both belong in the same catalog, not in a folder you forget.
What not to do
Do not stand up a mailbox per source. One ingest address. Match against the authors you actually represent. Send from their Gmail, because HARO and Connectively still care which mailbox is registered.
GetPress is that desk. Start here.
