Your profile, recordings, drafts, and answers to journalist queries. We use them to match queries to you and to write drafts in your voice. Billing runs through Stripe; we never see your card number.

Journalist queries sit in a shared catalog. Your answers, recordings, and drafts stay on your company desk.

When you connect Gmail, we ask for three Google permissions: send email (gmail.send), create drafts (gmail.compose), and your email address (userinfo.email). We use them for exactly one thing: putting pitches you approved into your mailbox, as drafts or as sends, so journalists hear from you and not from us.

These permissions cannot read your inbox, and we do not ask for any that can. We store one refresh token per connected mailbox, encrypted at rest with AES-256. It is decrypted only at the moment a pitch you approved is drafted or sent.

We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or let humans read it, except with your permission, for security, or where the law requires. We do not use it to train AI models.

GetPress's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Nobody, apart from the infrastructure the product runs on: Cloudflare (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (billing), PostHog (anonymous page views, EU), and the AI providers that draft text from the material you give us. None of them receive your Gmail token.

We do not sell your recordings. We do not put GetPress on the from-line of a pitch.

Page views go to PostHog in the EU. The tracker stays in memory for that visit, so we do not set an analytics cookie and we do not need a cookie banner.

Disconnect Gmail in the author profile and the stored token is deleted immediately. You can also revoke GetPress at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Cancel the $99 subscription in Settings any time. Email us to delete your account and we remove your profile, recordings, drafts, and tokens within 30 days.
